The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We process your data exclusively in accordance with the law (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contacting us

When you contact us through the form on the website or via e-mail, the information you provide is saved by us for six months for the purposes of processing your request and any follow-up inquiries. We do not provide this information to third parties without your consent.

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device via your browser. They are not malicious. We use cookies to make our offering more user-friendly. Some cookies remain on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser when you visit again. If you do not want us to place cookies, you can configure your browser so that it informs you about any cookies to be placed and lets you allow them on a case-by-case basis. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymisation

Our site uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computed and enable an analysis of how you use the website. We have concluded a corresponding contract regarding the processing of the data with the provider. Your IP address is collected but immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This only enables a general localisation. The data processing is conducted in accordance with the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 Austrian Telecommunications Act as well as of Art. 6 para 1 lit a (Consent) and/or f (Legitimate interest) GDPR.

Our legitimate interest according to the meaning of the GDPR is the improvement of our offering and of our web presence. Because our users’ privacy is important to us, user data is pseudonymised [Pseudonymisation is recommended with the “legitimate interest” legal argument; this needs to be settled with the Web analysis service]. User data is stored for a period of 50 months.

You can prevent this by configuring your browser not to accept cookies. Google also provides a deactivation option for the most commonly used browsers that gives you more control over what information is collected and processed by Google. If you activate this option, no information about your visit to the website is transmitted to Google Analytics. However, activation does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services used by us. Additional information on the deactivation option provided by Google as well as on the activation of this option can be found at the following link:

Use of YouTube components with expanded privacy mode

Our website uses components (videos) from YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When you call up a page that contains an embedded video, a connection is generated to the YouTube servers, allowing the content to be displayed on the Internet page through your browser. According to YouTube, in the “expanded privacy mode” information, in particular which of our websites you visited, is only transmitted to the YouTube servers when you watch the video. If you are simultaneously logged on to YouTube, this information is assigned to your member account with YouTube. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.

Further information on YouTube’s privacy protection is made available by Google under the following link:

Your rights

You have the rights of information, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection.
